Volunteers Needed!
We need your help! The Kids Sale would not be possible without wonderful volunteers like YOU! We love our volunteers and want your volunteer shift to be as rewarding for you as it is for us!
If you can volunteer a minimum of just 4 hours, you will be invited to shop with one lucky friend before the public and before the consignor pre-sale on October 1st starting at 5pm! Plus, for each 4 hour volunteer shift you work, you will receive a $10 gift certificate to our next sale! You do not need to be a consignor to volunteer!
Volunteers who are also consignors will receive the following three benefits:
- You will be invited to shop with one lucky friend before the public and before the consignor presale,
- You will earn an extra 5% of your total sales for every 4 hour volunteer shift you complete, and
- You will receive a $10 gift certificate to our next sale for each 4 hour volunteer shift you complete!
Please consider signing up to volunteer! Again, we couldn't do this without the help of fabulous volunteers like YOU!
If you want to volunteer but are unable to work any of the shifts that are available, please email christina@thekidssale.com with the hours you would like to work and we will try to create a shift just for you.
A couple of things to keep in mind for your volunteer shift:
- Please make arrangements for childcare
- Make sure you eat breakfast, lunch or snacks before you come. The sale can get pretty busy and you may not have time to sit and eat.
- If you are working more than one 4 hour shift in a day, you will be scheduled for 1/2 hour lunch break in between your two 4 hour shifts so that you can grab a bite to eat. In an effort to keep costs down and consignor percentages up, we ask that you provide your own meals. Small snacks and bottled water will be available on site for light refreshment.
- Wear comfortable shoes, you may be doing a lot of standing and/or walking during your volunteer shift.
