Accepted Items

Accessories

Boys, Girls and Infant accessory items are accepted (belts, hair clips, hats, socks, etc) as long as they are in excellent condition. NO cheap children's jewelry will be accepted per CPSIA recommendations.

Adult accessory items such as handbags, jewelry, sunglasses wallets and watches are accepted. (Men's or Women's ok) All adult accessory items must also be in excellent condition. NO collectibles or breakables please!

Apparel

Boys, Girls and Unisex clothing is accepted. Any season including costumes and fancy attire.Any sizes from preemie/newborn to juniors. All clothing MUST be clean/freshly laundered and free of damage.

Maternity clothing that is brand name and in excellent condition is also accepted. Any season, all sizes. All clothing MUST be clean/freshly laundered and free of damage. We reserve the right to reject any item that does not meet our standards.

Baby Activities

All baby activity items must be in working condition (w/ working batteries). Potential buyers LOVE to test items before they purchase them! If your item has dead batteries it probably won't sell.

All diaper bags and accessories must be clean and in working condition. Only new disposable diapers and like new cloth diapers will be accepted.

All feeding items must be clean, in working condition and not subject to any current or past recall.

For the House

Family Furniture & Decor for any room in the house. Sofa sets, coffee & end tables, TV armoires & hutches, dining room & kitchen tables with chairs, pantry shelving units, office furniture, office chairs, bedroom sets, bathroom shelving units, etc. Lamps, rugs, vases, artwork, etc.

All household furniture and decor items must be clean with very little wear and no damage. Mattresses accepted only if they are in EXCELLENT condition, clean with no stains and come with a bed set (minimum headboard and frame). Please email christina@thekidssale.com with a picture of your item if you would like to make sure it will be accepted!

All toys must be in working condition (w/ working batteries if necessary) and come with all necessary pieces. Potential buyers LOVE to test items before they purchase them! If your item has dead batteries it probably won't sell. NO infant toys that are made from very soft vinyl or plastic (excluding latex or silicone), unless made for sale after 2/10/09 per the new CPSIA compliance standards.

Notice to Consignors: Items will be checked for stains, holes and pet/smoke allergens during drop-off and periodically throughout the sale. Any items that contain these flaws will either not be accepted or will be removed from the sales floor at our discretion.

It is your responsibility to make sure your items have not been recalled by the manufacturer! Information on recalled products can be found at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission website.
