What's New for the Upcoming 2009 Fall-Winter Event?

We are so excited to announce our 2009 Fall-Winter Event coming up October 2nd - 4th at The Landing! The Landing is near Fry's just off I-405 in Renton. The Landing is a newer Urban Village that is home to many other large anchor stores such as Lowe's, Target, Petsmart, Staples, Ross and LA Fitness - needless to say, this is a GREAT location! We are leasing the former Joes/Seahawks Traning Camp Building which is located at 915 Landing Way North in Renton, just a few miles South of Bellevue.

The weekend event will be open from 10am - 7pm Friday and Saturday and 1/2 price day will be Sunday, October 4th from 10am - 2pm.

What's new for shoppers?

1) FUNdraiser Day, Saturday October 3rd! FUNdraiser day is a super-duper easy way for your non-profit organization to raise funds! Click on the link to your left titled "FUNdraiser Day" to find out how it works!

2) Want to shop first, first? Shop before the consignors and the public by signing up to volunteer at the sale or by donating a much-needed item to The Kids Sale. You do not have to be a consignor to volunteer! Click on the link titled Volunteer @ TKS or Volunteer Alternative to learn more and get in to the sale FIRST!

3) The 30-Second Shopping Sprees were a BLAST at The Kids Sale @ Snoqualmie Ridge. We will be holding ONE 30-Second Shopping Spree on Sunday at NOON during our 1/2 price sale! One lucky shopper will be allowed to grab as much as they can in 30 seconds and take it all home for FREE! Check out The Kids Sale Channel on YouTube to view the shopping sprees from our past sale. 4) Make sure you've joined our email list or become a Fan of The Kids Sale on Facebook to stay informed of all future news and announcements! There is a link to our Facebook page on the menu to your left.

What's new for consignors?

1) The Kids Sale now offers tagging gun kits for purchase! They are only $19 (includes $2 for shipping) and come with the tagging gun and 500 fasteners. Even better, The Kids Sale will buy back your tagging gun when you're done using it for $10 which means you can easily tag up to 500 items for only $9 (plus the price of paper for the tags)!

2) Volunteer and you get to shop first-first, before the public and before the consignors! All people signed-up to volunteer will be invited to enter the sale at 5pm on Thursday, October 1st. The regular consignor pre-sale starts one hour later at 6pm and runs until 8pm. For those who have volunteered before or are interested in volunteering for the first time, please read the new volunteer benefits structure and new volunteer suggestions by clicking on the Volunteer @ TKS link to your left.

3) Consignor Fee Increase - The Kids Sale has made a happy meal sized increase to the consignor fee. Consignors will continue to earn 70% of their total sales (or up to 100% if you volunteer) minus a $15 consignor fee. This Consignor fee helps us cover the costs of operating the sale; building/facility rental, insurance, Labor, Software/Computer Equipment, Credit Card Processing, Taxes and Licensing, Advertising, Supplies, Postage...does this list ever end? Needless to say, we think you will find that The Kids Sale is still the best conisgnment option out there! Our events are FUN, you make more money and you get paid FAST when you consign with The Kids Sale!
