Holy cow, June is shaping up to be the month to score some new clothes for your little one. With three sales to choose from, you’re likely to find enough deals to outfit them for the rest of the year!
On June 2 and 3, head east to the Historic Pickering Barn in Issaquah (1730 10th Ave. N.W., Issaquah, 98027) for The Kids Sale where you’ll find thousands of gently used, previously owned items for parents-to-be, infants and kids.
Sale hours are 10 a.m, to 7 p.m. and admittance is free. Check their website for shopping tips and to learn how you can sell your old kid’s stuff at the sale too.
June 13 brings the 2nd Annual Seattle Children's Shop sale in the Plum Children’s Shoes parking lot at 2913 E. Madison St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participating stores include Baby Nouveau, Birth and Beyond, Bootyland, Buggy, Bump, Georgia Blu, Lambs Ear, Mon Petit Shoe, Once Upon a Time, RetroActive Kids, Spoiled by Nana, Sugarlump, Plum Shoes, Pop Tots, Two Owls, Tottini and Urban Kids Play.
I reported on this sale last year and can only imagine the deals will be as good, if not better this time around.
The weekend of June 13 and 14 is also See Kai Run’s First Ever Warehouse Sale, which is on from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday at the See Kai Run World Headquarters located at the Woodinville Construction & Trade Center, 5809 238th St. S.E., Suite 5, Woodinville, 98072.
Expect deals of at least 50 percent off adorable shoes for kids from zero to three years old, as well as discounts on clothing from other local vendors like BabyLegs, LuCoo, Kate Quinn Organics, Nest, Knuckleheads and Eight3one.

Hoist Your Sales
You garage is overflowing with outgrown kids' gear and you could
use the cash, but who has the time or energy to organize a sale? Local mom Christina Melby handles it all, and delivers a check to you to boot.
Melby wasn't content to rest a year ago, when she was eight months pregnant with her third kiddo. Instead, she dreamed up and founded The Kids Sale, a giant consignment sale that gives families a chance to shop for what they need, and to sell what they've outgrown. The second annual mega-sale is coming up; we're letting you know in advance, while there's time to sign up to sell.
Here's how it works: register online; gather your kiddo clothes, shoes, maternity clothes, toys, games, puzzles, sporting goods, books, movies, music, play equipment, furniture, stuffed animals, women's items, and baby gear; log on to make tags for your items or let Christina's team tag for you; price your items; chose a drop off time; collect your check! Volunteer to work the sale--you'll get up to 85% of your sales back--or, just collect 70% of your sales at the end. Unsold items can be picked up or donated. Consigners and volunteers enjoy a pre-sale for the best selection. Bonus: you get a starter kit for tagging items, and free hangers. Just looking to shop? We suggest heading over early!
